Required Gear
To safely participate in Ascension MMA training sessions, students must have the following equipment.  
 
Practical Striking
Mouthguard
Handwraps
16 oz. Boxing Gloves
MMA Gloves
Shin Guards (for live sparring)
Head Gear (optional)
 
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - Gi
BJJ Gi and appropriate belt
Mouthguard
Wrestling Head Gear (optional)
 
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu – No Gi
Rash Guard
Training Shorts
Mouthguard
Wrestling Head Gear (optional)
 
All students should bring a pair of running shoes to the gym for conditioning purposes.
Ascension MMA is an authorized dealer of Combat Sports and Ringside products.  For your convenience, we keep some of the required gear in stock.  If you would like to purchase your gear from us, just let us know.  If we do not have what you need or want, we are happy to order it for you.
